Kolhapur Medical Camp Venue : Pendakhale Village of Kolhapur

Medical Camp schedule on 8, 9 & 10th of February 2009

Venue : Pendakhale Village of Kolhapur

Small Brief :

For the Welfare of the people in rural area’s medical camps are being conducted. For the past five years, unique mega medical camp is being conducted in a backward area of kolhapur District, covering nearly 200 village. The medical team comprises of physician Ophthalmologists, Dentists, Paediatricians, Gynaecologists, ENT surgeons, Cardiologists, Orthopaedicians and General Practitioners.
Although the Camp is held For 1 day, the planning Commences months in advance. Post the cam, regular follow up activity is maintained, leading right up to the time to planning for the next camp. Data of every remote village and villagers covered by the camp is maintained by volunteers to meet the exact requirements of the villagers During the recently conclude 2008 mega medical camp, 16 thousand 300 villagers from 200 villages including 7 thousand 634 school children, benefited from the camp.

Major Activities Of the camp

* Free Medical Check-up of Villagers (including students)
* Distributing of medicines free of cost, to the villagers and distribution of medicines, tonics,syrups etc. to school going children twice during year.
* Distribution of used cloths to villagers and two sets of uniforms to school going children. (uniforms prepare under charakha yojana)
* Distribution of Caps, slippers, sports materials for school children
* Distribution of hygiene material such as purification liquid, anti-lice lotion, tooth powder, soaps, combs etc.


About the Organization

This project is been undertaken by SHREE ANIRUDDHA UPASANA FOUNDATION

Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation (SAUF). SAUF was incorporated as a charitable organization under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, in April 2005. From the time of its inception, apart from pursuing its principal object of caring out upasana of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu, SAUF along with its sister organisations such as Shree Aniruddha Aadesh Pathak (SAAP), Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management(AADM), etc. all Of which are registered charitable organisation, has undertaken various socio-cultural activities, with Divine blessings and inspiration of Param pujya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu.

पुणे, ता. २४ - ''ब्राह्मण समाजातील केवळ 11 ते 12 टक्के लोक मतदान करतात ही वस्तुस्थिती एका अहवालात नमूद केली आहे. आपण मतदान करणार नसू तर मग आपल्या मतांना आणि विचारांना प्राधान्य मिळणार कसे?'' असा सवाल डॉ. अनिरुद्ध जोशी ऊर्फ अनिरुद्ध बापू यांनी शनिवारी केला. समन्वयाची शक्ती उभी करून ब्राह्मणांनी सामर्थ्यवान संस्कृती निर्माण करावी, असे आवाहन त्यांनी केले.
पाचव्या बहुभाषिक ब्राह्मण महाअधिवेशनात "ब्राह्मण स्त्री जीवनातील स्थित्यंतरे' या विषयावरील परिसंवादात अनिरुद्ध बापू बोलत होते. प्रसिद्ध साहित्यिका डॉ. अश्‍विनी धोंगडे, औरंगाबादच्या महापौर विजया रहाटकर, बडोदा येथील सयाजी विद्यापीठाच्या हिंदी विभागप्रमुख शैलजा अंबरदार, "प्रभात'च्या अरुणा दामले आणि ऍड. अपर्णा रामतीर्थकर यांनी परिसंवादात सहभाग घेतला. ज्येष्ठ प्रवचनकार कल्याणी नामजोशी अध्यक्षस्थानी होत्या.
अनिरुद्ध बापू म्हणाले, ""या देशाची संस्कृती टिकविण्याचे काम फक्त ब्राह्मणांनी केले. कोणत्याही प्रांतात ब्राह्मणांची भाषा वेगळी असली तरी उपनयन संस्कार झाल्यावर गायत्री मंत्र आणि जानवे हे एकच आहे. आपले संस्कार घट्टपणे जपून आपण काय आहोत हे तपासले पाहिजे. लोक काय म्हणतील याला घाबरू नका. मुलांना शारीरिक आणि मानसिकदृष्ट्या कणखर बनवा. कोणी अंगावर आले तर त्याला चोपण्याची क्षमता ठेवा. आम्ही नास्तिकतेवर टीका करणार नाही. तुम्ही आमच्या आस्तिकतेवर आघात करू नका. श्रद्धेवरच माणसाचे जीवन फुलत असते.''
नामजोशी म्हणाल्या, ""भारतीय संस्कृती हा विश्‍वाचा कणा आहे. ब्राह्मणाचे ब्राह्मण्य कायम आहे, तो ब्राह्मण वंदनीय आहे. हिंदू धर्मात विवाह हा अटळ आहे. सध्या नोंदणी विवाहाची कल्पना आली आहे. आपल्या संस्कृतीमध्ये लग्न हा करार नाही तर ती शपथ आहे. ते एक व्रत आहे. पुरुष आणि स्त्री हे सहजीवन आहे, हे लक्षात घेऊन आपण एकत्र आले पाहिजे. नवी शक्ती निर्माण केली पाहिजे.''
अंबरदार यांनी आपल्या मनोगतातून काश्‍मिरी ब्राह्मण महिलांची व्यथा मांडली. दामले यांनी प्रभात कालखंडापासून चित्रपटातील स्त्री कलाकारांच्या भूमिकेचा वेध घेतला. प्रा. मेधा कुलकर्णी यांनी सूत्रसंचालन केले.
मी माफी मागते - अश्‍विनी धोंगडे
सध्याच्या काळात मुलांनी संध्या केली नाही आणि जानवे घातले नाही म्हणून बिघडले कुठे? घरातून होणारे संस्कार महत्त्वाचे आहेत, असे मत डॉ. अश्‍विनी धोंगडे यांनी व्यक्त केले. त्यावरून प्रेक्षकांमध्ये गदारोळ सुरू झाला. वेदमूर्ती मोरेश्‍वर घैसास म्हणाले, ""आम्ही इथे ब्राह्मण म्हणून जमलो आहोत. शेंडी, जानवे आणि कपाळाला गंध हीच आमची ओळख आहे. संध्या आणि गायत्री मंत्राचा जप केलाच पाहिजे. त्यातच आम्ही धर्म मानतो. धर्म हा निष्ठेशिवाय राहत नाही.'' त्यानंतरही धोंगडे यांनी माफी मागावी, अशी मागणी सुरूच राहिली. धोंगडे म्हणाल्या, ""बोलण्याच्या भरात माझ्याकडून अधिक्षेप झाला आणि त्यामुळे भावना दुखावल्या गेल्या, त्याबद्दल मी माफी मागते. उदार ब्राह्मणवृत्तीला जाणून तुम्ही क्षमा कराल, अशी अपेक्षा आहे.'' त्यानंतर परिसंवादातील पुढील वक्‍त्यांचे भाषण सुरू झाले.

Aniruddha Bapu’s 13-point programme


Social work, charitable activities, conservation, interfaith thinking and scientific attitude blend seemlessly in this unique programme.

1. Charkha: Yarn spun by volunteers is made into cloth to be distributed among needy students and their families.

2. Gograss Yojana: Grass grown by volunteers in areas where water is available year round, is collected and sent to famine-stricken areas as fodder for cattle.

3. Raddi Yojana: Old paper collected from people is converted into paper bags to use instead of non-biodegradable plastic. Paper pulp is used to make articles for distribution to needy students as incentive to go to school.

4. Old is Gold Yojana: Old utensils, clothing, books, toys etc, will be collected for distribution to needy students.

5. Warmth of Love Yojana: Torn cloth is used to make quilts for the poor.

6. Vidya Prakash Yojana: Candles and matchboxes are donated for use by students who do not have electricity to enable them to study.

7. Cleanliness Yojana: Cleaning up of public schools, hospitals and places of worship is undertaken by volunteers.

8. Ahilya Sangh Yojana: Will work towards the empowerment of women.

9. New Universal Dharmagrantha: To free society of unnecessary ritual and blind faith, a new

Dharma—confluence of Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism and Buddhism—will be introduced by Bapu.

10. Information Bank: Every Thursday, before his discourse, Bapu will impart scientific information and update devotees on new scientific discoveries.

11. Bhartiya Bhasha Sangram: To inculcate a sense of brotherhood among Indians, volunteers will learn at least one language other than their mother tongue.

12. Study of the Five Continents: Progress and politics of the five continents will be studied.

13. Disaster Management Volunteers: An academy of Disaster Management will train volunteers to tackle natural and man-made disasters.
